Fofana transfer eyed
Arsenal are interested in signing Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana if they are unable to complete a deal for Declan Rice, according to French outlet according to L'Equipe.
The Gunners are currently locked in an intense transfer battle with Manchester City to sign Rice but it is claimed they have a contingency plan in place if the England international ends up at the Etihad Stadium. That plan is said to include potentially making a move for Fofana, who has established himself as one of Ligue 1's most consistent midfielders over the last couple of seasons.
City bid details revealed
Manchester City officially entered the race to sign West Ham United's captain on Monday night.
football.london understands their offer was £80million guaranteed with an additional £10million in add-ons, although it was still rejected by David Moyes' side. On first inspection, it doesn't seem much higher than Arsenal's most recent offer, which was £75million+£15million but football.london understands that City offered more upfront compared to the Gunners whilst also paying in fewer instalments.
Holding to Bestikas
As per The Express, Arsenal defender Rob Holding is in talks with Turkish outfit Besiktas regarding a possible loan deal during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are said to have received an offer for Holding, who is is now discussing a move away from the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta's side are keen to sign Ajax starlet Jurrien Timber during the summer window, a move that would likely leave Holding quite far down the Spaniard's pecking order
