Valencia midfield sensation Yunus Musah has signed a fresh six-year deal at the club to continue his meteoric rise in the professional game.
The 18-year-old became the youngest foreign player to making his Valencia debut after he burst onto the scene at the start of this season with his LaLiga bow against Levante in September.
Now the former Arsenal academy star has put pen to paper on fresh terms which will see him through to the end of the 2025-26 season, with his former deal expiring in less than two years time.
Reports from American outlet CBS also suggest Musah - who played for the United States' senior team in friendlies against Wales and Panama last month - has a £90million (€100m) release clause included in his new deal.
'I am very happy to have signed for Valencia and renewed my contract,' Musah told the club's official website.
'I can't wait for what the future holds. It is a dream come true for myself and the family.
'It is something I have dreamed of since I was young, to have a first-team contract with a big club. To do it at Valencia is even bigger.'
Musah was born in New York to Ghanaian parents and spent his childhood in Italy and London.
But he has now established himself as part of boss Javi Gracia's plans, having started nine of Valencia's 11 LaLiga games so far this season.
Musah's first goal for the club came in a 2-2 draw with Getafe at the beginning of last month but remains his only goal contribution so far.
The news comes with England hoping that Musah will reverse his decision to play for the United States, given that he has still to make his competitive debut for Gregg Berhalter's side.
The Football Association have been in contact with Musah's family and would ideally like the midfielder to link up with the Under 21s next year.
But he has already drawn many plaudits in Spain, with the midfielder quickly becoming a fans' favourite.
'The fans are in awe of him already,' Valencia-based journalist Cristian Riera told Sportsmail in September.
'He was not that well known a couple of weeks ago. But we have seen a young player who has speed, skill and audacity and he has already won fans over.
'He has a very good future at the club, I hope he stays here for many years.'
