Sevilla made an early breakthrough against Bayern Munich in the European Super Cup after David Alaba nudged Ivan Rakitic in the penalty area which led to Anthony Taylor awarding a spot-kick.
However, MARCA's refereeing expert Juan Andujar Oliver didn't see enough contact to justify a penalty being given.
"There's a push from Alaba on the Sevilla player [Rakitic] but not enough to give such a punishment," he told Radio MARCA.
The resulting penalty was converted by Lucas Ocampos.
