Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has spoken openly about the Bundesliga giants' pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has spoken about his side's pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Bayern are the club that have been most heavily linked with a move for the England captain this summer but the German giants would have to offer Lilywhites chairman Daniel Levy a considerable fee to even tempt him into a deal. Now, Hainer has spoken candidly about the 29-year-old's undeniable quality whilst admitting that the player would be the perfect addition to the Bundesliga.
“I think that here in Bundesliga we don’t have many international stars anymore," he said, via transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. "Bayern always try to bring stars."
He added: "Harry Kane is a highly attractive player, England captain and top scorer. He would do us and the Bundesliga good."
"If something like that becomes something that I need to consider then it'll hit my roving desk at the moment. Right now there's nothing in front of me that has changed from two days ago."
