Bayern Munich have revealed that Javi Martinez returns to the training session after the two-month injury.
After suffering a muscle injury in the thigh in the home game against VfL Wolfsburg (2-0) in mid-December, the 31-year-old was able to complete the almost one-hour morning session. In addition to running and passing exercises, a form of play on the small field was also on the program.
Hansi Flick opened the training session on Sunday morning in a happy mood.
"Javi is back on the pitch," said the 54-year-old when he greeted the Bayern players on the pitch. Because among them there was midfielder Javi Martínez again after a two-month break. The teammates then acknowledged the encouraging message with applause before the Spaniard addressed himself to his teammates in a few words.
