Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are both reportedly considering a move for upcoming free agent Naby Keita.
The Liverpool outcast is out of contract at the end of the season and is unlikely to to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Bundesliga giants Dortmund are considering a move for Keita as a potential replacement for Jude Bellingham.
The England international is expected by many to leave the club this summer, with Liverpool heavily interested in bringing him to Anfield in the next transfer window.
The Italian publication have also claimed that Inter Milan are in the race to sign the 28-year-old Guinean international.
Inter, like Dortmund with Bellingham, might have to bring in a new midfielder if any of their current core leaves the club.
Nicolo Barella is another reported target for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, while Marcelo Brozovic's future at the club is also uncertain.
Liverpool had high hopes for Keita after they signed him on a £52m deal in 2017 - though he joined the club a year later.
However, his spell at Anfield has been marred by inconsistent form and frequent injury issues which have prevented him from nailing down a regular place in the starting XI.
The Guinean international is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club and it's said that both Keita and Liverpool have already decided to move on when his current deal expires.
Though Liverpool are one of the frontrunners to sign Bellingham this summer, it's expected they will face heavy competition for his signature.
The likes of Real Madrid and Man City have also been linked with the midfielder who could go for as much as £130m.
Gazetto dello Sport's report also claim that Inter star Barella and Moises Caicedo are on Klopp's shortlist.
Barella, 26, has been a regular for Inter Milan over the past four seasons, making 166 appearances and netting 17 goals.
Caicedo meanwhile has previously been linked with Liverpool, as well as the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Gunners were priced out of a move for Caicedo during the January transfer window, with the Seagulls rejecting a £70m bid.
