Fiorentina are reportedly prepared to offer Dusan Vlahovic in exchange for Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul.
The creative midfielder has been targeted by a host of Serie A clubs in recent weeks and La Nazione claims the Friuli are asking for €40m for the Argentine.
Juventus, Milan and Fiorentina have been mentioned with concrete interest but the high demands in Udine are stopping them from making a move so far.
But the Viola are, according to the report from Tuttomercatoweb, preparing to try a potential swap deal including Vlahovic.
The Serbian 20-year-old, who scored six times in 30 Serie A matches in 2019-20, arrived in July 2018 and became the first player born in 2000 who started a match for Fiorentina.
