Eintracht Frankfurt chairman Beck stated that Milan had not contacted them regarding Krösche.

Multiple Italian media outlets unanimously reported on Monday afternoon that Milan and Krösche have reached a verbal agreement for him to become the sporting director. All that remains is to reach an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt, and once that is done, according to these reports, the deal will be officially finalized.
These reports caused a great stir and confusion in Eintracht Frankfurt. According to Bild, the news even reached the club's top management, who were in Mallorca. Now, club chairman Matthias Beck (55) has responded to this.
The Bundesliga club chairman and chairman of the supervisory board exclusively told Bild: "No one from Milan has contacted us regarding Krösche."
Not only that, but Beck even further emphasized: "And as the main committee of Eintracht Frankfurt, after communicating with Krösche, we have not received any indication that he wishes to leave Eintracht Frankfurt before his contract expires in 2028."
This is a very clear statement from the highest level of the club. And after a phone call with Krösche on Monday afternoon, the Eintracht Frankfurt management is even more convinced: Krösche will stay!
The fact is: if Krösche really wants to leave the club, he must apply for release to the main committee, which consists of Beck, Felix Wirmer, and Sven Janssen.
This is not only because it has always been the internal agreement, but also because the termination clause in Krösche's contract is currently not active, so the club must actively approve his departure.
In other words, if Krösche really wishes to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer, then both parties must negotiate compensation.
However, during the phone conversation on Monday afternoon, even when directly asked, Krösche did not mention anything related to this. Therefore, for Eintracht Frankfurt, the sporting director's move to Milan is simply not a realistic issue.
Nevertheless, there were indeed contacts between Krösche and Milan, and Italian media also unanimously reported that an agreement had been reached between the two parties.
What is certain is that the two-day rumors about Krösche from Italy have caused unrest within Eintracht Frankfurt, and many in the supervisory board are not happy about this.
