German businessman hatches plan to bring Ronaldo to Bayern Munich

An entrepreneur is planning to use his influence to bring one of the greatest footballers ever, Cristiano Ronaldo, to German giants Bayern Munich.

Cristiano Ronaldo may be on his way back to a major European club, with businessman, Markus Schon, hatching a plan to bring him to Bayern Munich.

Currently, Ronaldo is earning the biggest paycheck in football with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. But if the 38-year-old fancies another crack at the Champions League, Bayern Munich could be his way back into the spotlight.

Last summer, the Bundesliga leaders were already linked with Ronaldo, but finances became a hurdle. Well, Schon may have already found a way around that problem. In fact, German outlet Abendzeitung claims that he’s already reached out to Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn to set everything in motion.

“It would be conceivable that we could undertake to pay a transfer fee or loan fee in excess of a basic amount to be defined if our company is clearly seen as ‘facilitating’ the difference,” Schon wrote.

“In the event of a permanent commitment, we would expect a share in the proceeds from the jersey in order to limit our financial risk.”

There is an obvious catch for Ronaldo to join Bayern – he’ll need to take a big pay cut from his €200 million per season salary at Al Nassr.

But as a huge fan, Schon knows the Real Madrid legend’s proven track record of record-breaking success at every club he’s played for. Is this the transfer we’ve all been waiting for?
