Grosskreutz prepares 200 tickets for game against his old club BVB for friends

More than 30 000 fans are expected for the match Uerdingen (3rd division) against Dortmund in Dusseldorf tomorrow . Uerdingen player Großkreutz got alone 200 cards for his friends. 

Having spent most of his career with Borussia Dortmund, the 28-year-old has made 186 Bundesliga appearances (23 goals, 28 assists) and won back-to-back Bundesliga title with BVB in 2011 and 2012 during his six-year spell with the club. Whilst with Die Schwarzgelben, he was part of Germany’s 2014 FIFA World Cup winning squad.

After making 236 competitive appearance for Dortmund, he moved to Galatasaray in Turkey in 2015, before returning to Germany with VfB Stuttgart in 2016. He was released by the Bundesliga 2 side in March, making it possible for Darmstadt to sign him. However, he is not eligible to play again this season after already appearing for two clubs this season, and will therefore only begin his career with the Lilies in 2017/18.

He said: "I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund since childhood. I can not wait anymore. When the lot was pulled, I was home with my two children and my wife. We were all nuts. "
