Hertha Berlin were comfortable 4-0 winners over city rivals Union Berlin at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Friday night.
After a goalless first half, the hosts opened the scoring six minutes after the restart when Vedad Ibisevic headed in from Marvin Plattenhardt's cross.
Moments later, Hertha doubled their advantage as Dodi Lukebakio rounded the goalkeeper and slotted into an empty net.
Matheus Cunha added to Hertha's lead shortly after the hour mark when he found the bottom corner from the edge of the area before Dedryck Boyata completed the scoring with a header at a corner.
The win moves Hertha four points clear in 10th of their neighbours in the Bundesliga table as Union remain in 12th.
