Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka said it was "a dream come true" to score against Eintracht Frankfurt after his goal helped the Gunners to a 3-0 victory in Germany.

The 18-year-old, making only his second senior start for the club after playing predominantly for the Under-23s, caused havoc for the Eintracht defence throughout the entire evening.

And the winger got his reward for his efforts with a clinical left-footed finish from 20 yards to give Unai Emery's side a comfortable lead against 10-man Frankfurt.

Saka also showed his creative side by grabbing two assists for Joe Willock and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goals to cap an impressive night for the youngster.

The England Under-19 international could not hide his delight and pledged to continue fighting for a first-team place.

"I'm so happy to score for Arsenal," Saka said, via the club's official Twitter account.

"It's a dream come true, I've been dreaming of this day since I was a kid and I'm so happy that's happened.

"I've just got to keep working hard to make sure I can enjoy the same feeling again."

Saka excelled in the three-man attacking midfield along with Willock, 20, and Emile Smith Rowe, 19, and Unai Emery was pleased with their individual performances.

"Maybe with his [Saka's] goal and performance he was taking confidence. He was finishing really strong," Emery said.

"Also with Emile after his injury. He played for the first time this season. I told him I was very happy with him.

"Willock started a little slow at the beginning but progressively he was feeling very better with a good performance."
