The 20-year-old midfielder signs a contract in Bad Cannstatt until 2030 and will wear the number 30.
Before the start of training camp on Monday, VfB Stuttgart signed another new signing. Chema Andrés is transferring from Spanish record champions Real Madrid to the Cannstatt-based club. The 20-year-old midfielder will join VfB Stuttgart immediately and has signed a contract until June 30, 2030. He will wear the number 30 jersey from now on.
Chema Andrés says: "My first impressions are very positive – I'm happy to be here and looking forward to the first training session with my new teammates. The Bundesliga is a big league – I've always dreamed of moving to a special club in one of the top leagues and taking my next steps there. I want to do my part to ensure that VfB continues to play successfully and that we win many games together."

Three professional appearances for Real Madrid
Chema Andrés was born on April 25, 2005, in Valencia, Spain. He began his football career at the age of five with Bétera, before moving to UD Levante's youth team after three seasons. In 2018 - Chema Andrés was 13 at the time - he made the leap into Real Madrid's academy and has since progressed through all of the "Royal" youth teams. He then made the step up to the senior teams at the Spanish record champions and played for their second team, which competes in the country's third division, in the 2024/2025 season. Chema Andrés made a total of 35 appearances for "Real Madrid Castilla", providing three assists. He also played 13 times in the UEFA Youth League, collecting two points. He made two appearances for Real Madrid's senior team in "La Liga" and one in the "Copa del Rey" cup competition. He was part of Real Madrid’s squad at the recent FIFA Club World Cup.
The 1.90-meter-tall midfielder is currently a U-19 international for his home country of Spain. He has represented every national team since the U18 level. He has made a total of 14 U-19 appearances, scoring one goal. He won the U19 European Championship with the Spanish U19 team in 2024.
Fourth signing this summer
Chema Andrés is VfB Stuttgart's fourth new signing for the upcoming 2025/2026 season. Full-back Lorenz Assignon (Stade Rennes, France) and attacking players Noah Darvich (FC Barcelona, Spain) and Lazar Jovanovic (Red Star Belgrade, Serbia) have already joined the Cannstatt club.
