Promising PSG midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery (17) is being courted by Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund, according to a report from RMC Sport. Guven his very young age, the French teenager was arguably Les Parisiens’ breakout player this past season. The France U19 international featured 41 times for PSG in all competitions, logging four goals and two assists. The PSG youth product has reportedly also caught the eye of Premier League powerhouses Manchester City and Arsenal.
The French outlet understands that Borussia Dortmund are pushing to sign the highly-rated midfielder. BVB are in the market to compensathe for the €103m sale of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid. Dortmund reportedly have informed both Zaïre-Emery and PSG of their intentions. Les Parisiens have formally branded their 17-year-old youth product as untransferable, given his status as the PSG Academy’s flagship player. The Ligue 1 champions may even entertain renewal talks with Zaïre-Emery.
However, given Dortmund’s insistance on getting a deal done, both PSG and Zaïre-Emery are reportedly not closing the door to a departure from the French capital.
