Paco Alcácer made his Borussia Dortmund debut on Friday. The Barcelona striker, in loan at the German club, played his first minutes in a yellow shirt in a friendly against Osnabrück, arranged to coincide with the international break.
Even though he didn't score in his team's 6-0 win, Alcacer did make an impression on his new fans. At the end of the game, the forward made his way over to a supporter waving a banner with his name on it and gave him his shirt, a gesture which was applauded by those in that section of the ground.
Alcacer has joined the Bundesliga side on a season-long loan for a fee of €2 million. There's also an option for Dortmund to make he deal permanent next summer for €23m plus €5m more in potential add-ons.
While Alcacer didn't score against Osnabrück, another former Barça player was on target. Teenager Sergio Gómez scored one of the six goals with a sweet strike from outside the area. Danish youngster Jacob Bruun Larsen impressed with four of the goals, while Maximilian Philipp also scored.
