According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Krzysztof Piatek would be open to returning to Genoa with the Grifone seeking a loan move.
The Poland striker scored 19 goals in 21 appearances at Genoa in the first part of the 2018-19 campaign before completing a €28m move to Milan in January 2019.
The 25-year-old has now four goals in 15 appearances with Herta BSC and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Genoa want to bring him back to the Luigi Ferraris, with the player open to returning.
Genoa want the player on loan until the end of the season, but need the Bundesliga side to pay part of the Piatek’s salary.
The Rossoblu may need a new centre forward in January as Gianluca Scamacca is in talks to join Juventus.
Genoa are expected to have e busy transfer window as Kevin Strootman is on the verge of joining the Rossoblu on loan until the end of the season.
