Sancho shows off stunning first touch during Borussia Dortmund training

Jadon Sancho has displayed why he is one the brightest emerging prospects in Europe with a stunning piece of skill in training.

The Borussia Dortmund winger has been in sensational form this season, scoring seven times and registering 12 assists in all competitions.

And Sancho again showed why he has won so many plaudits by showing off a inventive piece of sill during a training session this week.

The ball had looped up in the air after a clearance was blocked but the England international somehow managed to quickly swivel his body, flick it over team-mate Sergio Gomez's head and sprint past him to set up a counter attack.

It was another example of the fearless nature that has become typical of the 18-year-old on the pitch.

Sancho could not resist the temptation to rub it in his team-mate's face after getting the better of him and posted the video on his Instagram accompanied by a laughing face.

The Dortmund star has been an influential figure in their rise to top spot in the Bundesliga this season and set up two goals as they thumped Hannover 5-1 last weekend.

Sancho's success in Germany has led to several young English stars seeking to follow in his footsteps.

Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing for a move away with Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig both interested while Manchester City youngster Rabbi Matondo is also tempted by a possible move to Munich.

Dortmund, who are currently six points clear at the top, will need Sancho to be at his best once again on Saturday as they face a tricky task away at Eintracht Frankfurt.
