Arsenal have unveiled their LFSTLR range, which features t shirts and hoodies, with the help from a giant of the rap music industry
Arsenal have turned heads once again after they launched their lifestyle collection with the help of an American hip hop superstar.
Fans were shocked this morning when they woke up to see, not only that the Gunners had launched a lifestyle collection, but that they had hip hop giant, Pusha T front and centre of the campaign. The former member of Clipse and US Billboard 200 topping artist is well known away from his many hits for his connections with Kanye West and Pharrell Williams and also for his very public feud with fellow artist, Drake.
The third kit is a jump back to the past and is a homage to the 1982/83 season but with a modern twist. Sporting a mineral green base with collegiate navy shoulders and off-white stylised crest, Arsenal and adidas have reinvented a cult classic for the fans.
The reveal that Pusha T was modelling the new collection naturally caused a huge reaction on social media with many Arsenal fans taking to X to voice their disbelief and joy, that the 'Diet Coke' star was in fact wearing Arsenal clothing. Flocking to X, @AFCAMDEN said: "Pusha T modelling our third kit that isn’t even our third kit? We’re actually massive." while @IFLvvnar added "These guys got Pusha T modeling our jerseys. Diff lvl (Sic)"
The Pusha T reveal may have blindsided many fans, and caused the mega star's name to trend on X, but that didn't stop some Gunners' supporters from claiming Pusha himself as a Gooner with @Abdul_SSaeed 'Is that Pusha T modelling for us? Nah man we are dope' while @DRKRTS_DnB simply said: "Pusha T a Gooner ya know". The campaign also featured Conducta, an Award-winning DJ, multi-platinum producer and head of UK Garage label Kiwi Rekords and @Bloatyheader took to X and said: "Pusha T and Conducta advertising the new fits? the extent to which we are back is borderline hazardous"
Aside from Pusha T and Conducta inclusions, the range itself has gone down well with fans with @CarlTheGooner saying on X "Take. My. Money." while @afcuzer added '"i speak for all of arsenal fans that we WILL be buying it".
