New Everton signing Dele will wear the number 36 shirt for the Blues.
The England international midfielder has chosen the jersey after completing his move from Tottenham Hotspur on transfer deadline day.
Dele, who donned the number 20 at Spurs, is ineligible for Saturday's FA Cup tie against Brentford but could wear his new shirt for the first time when Everton travel to Newcastle United on Tuesday.
