Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to announce the official signing of Adama Traore from Middlesbrough. The young winger has passed his medical at Wolves and will later put pen to paper on his new contract.

The La Masia graduate will swap the Championship for the Premier League.

The Spanish player, of Mali origin, will become Wolves' record signing. The deal is worth €20m and he'll soon be under the orders of former Valencia coach, Nuno Espíritu Santo.

This sees Adama take yet another step forward in his career. He left Barcelona in 2015 to sign for Aston Villa. After a year at the Midlands club, Karanka's Boro signed him. It was there he became a cult hero and has now been rewarded with a move to the top division in England.
