According to FCinter1908, Croatian midfielders Sučić and Baturina impressed during the World Cup group stage, with Sučić's agent, Naletilić, asserting that both are approaching world-class status.

Brozović plays as a six, while Sučić operates as an eight or ten—an attacking midfielder who contributes defensively.
