Leonel del Castillo, the father of Sergio Aguero, has hit out at Pep Guardiola over the way the coach treated the striker at Manchester City.
Guardiola cried as he spoke about Aguero's departure, but Leonel del Castillo thought they were ingenuine tears.
"I don't believe his tears, he was never sincere with my son," the player's father told Radio La Red.
"In my opinion, he never wanted him.
"Guardiola is a great coach, but he always wants to be the main figure in his teams. From one day to the other, he changes the players or the midfield. The players never know if they're important or not.
"He said Sergio couldn't be replaced, but now he's not in the squad."
Discussing the move to Barcelona, Aguero's father is excited.
"He is happy after the move," he said.
"[Messi] has been a friend of his for 15 years and they've always been in contact. It seems Messi will stay at Barcelona, so they'll get to play together."
