Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi are the latest bright talents to have been called up to the England squad.
Gareth Southgate has put his faith in youth throughout his tenure in charge - dishing out 26 debuts into the senior ranks.
Southgate has given chances to nearly a quarter of a century of players in just his two-and-a-half years in charge of the Three Lions.
And it has proven to be a winning formula, securing England's best World Cup finish since 1990, while also leading the country to the UEFA Nations League finals.
But who exactly has Southgate handed debuts to?
From World Cup wonders to one-cap washouts - here is a list of the players:
1. Jesse Lingard - Debut vs Malta (October 2016)
Southgate's first debutant was Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, who has gone on to be a revelation for the Three Lions since his introduction on the international stage. The 26-year old has gone on to play 22 times for his country, and played five times for England during their successful 2018 World Cup campaign in Russia. Lingard found the net in the summer tournament during the 6-1 group stage demolition of Panama.
2. Aaron Cresswell - Debut vs Spain (November 2016)
West Ham full-back Aaron Cresswell made his debut off the bench when England were 2-0 up against Spain at Wembley, but the Three Lions conceded twice in injury time to draw the match 2-2. Cresswell featured two more times for his country but was dropped from the squad in March 2018 and has not been part of the squad since.
3. Michael Keane - Debut vs Germany (March 2017)
Former Burnley defender Michael Keane received his first England call-up whilst playing for the Clarets and has gone on to make 5 appearances for his country. Now at Everton , he is looking for his sixth runaround in a Three Lions shirt after he was called up to the current squad for the Czech Republic and Montenegro qualifiers this month.
4. Nathan Redmond - Debut vs Germany (March 2017)
Nathan Redmond's substitute appearance against Germany is the Southampton forward's only appearance in an England shirt to date. The fact that the 25-year old has not received another call-up to the squad is no real surprise - the forward has only scored four Premier League goals in his last 61 top-flight appearances.
5. James Ward-Prowse - Debut vs Germany (March 2017)
Midfielder Ward-Prowse - Redmond's teammate at Southampton - also made his Three Lions debut in the same match. While he spent the next two years outside of the international set-up, Ward-Prowse was recalled to the Three Lions squad this month and could make his second England appearance against the Czech Republic on Friday.
6. Kieran Trippier - Debut vs France (June 2017)
Tottenham 's Kieran Trippier made his England debut in a 3-2 friendly defeat for France and has played 15 more times for his country since then. The scorer of **that** free-kick in the 2018 World Cup semi-final against Croatia, the 28-year old could appear for Three Lions against the Czech Republic, but faces fierce competition against Manchester City 's Kyle Walker for a starting berth at right-back.
7. Harry Maguire - Debut vs Lithuania (October 2017)
A popular member of the current England set-up, Leicester City's Harry Maguire has been another excellent pick by Gareth Southgate. Maguire also scored his first Three Lions goal at the World Cup, heading in the opening goal against Sweden at the quarter-final stage.
8. Harry Winks - Debut vs Lithuania (October 2017)
Tottenham's Winks made an impressive debut against Lithuania in England's final qualifying match for the World Cup. However, the midfielder did not make the plane to Russia due to injury and although he was recalled to the squad last November, Winks was left out of the squad by Southgate for this month's matches.
9. Jordan Pickford - Debut vs Germany (November 2017)
Everton's Jordan Pickford immediately became his country's number one shot stopper after keeping clean sheets in his first two international starts against Germany and the Netherlands. The 'keeper starred for the Three Lions at the World Cup last summer, playing a key role in England's route to the semi-final.
10. Ruben Loftus-Cheek - Debut vs Germany (November 2017)
Chelsea 's Ruben Loftus-Cheek was one of several England youngsters to make their debut in a friendly against Germany in November 2017. The midfielder made such a good first impression that he became a regular in Southgate squads in 2018 and made four appearances at last summer's World Cup.
11. Tammy Abraham - Debut vs Germany (November 2017)
Young striker Tammy Abraham was called up for England's two friendlies against Germany and Brazil in late November 2017, and played in both matches. However, the then-on loan Swansea striker couldn't find the net as the Three Lions drew both games 0-0. This season, the 21-year old has had to drop down a division to find game time at club level, yet has scored 21 goals in 31 league matches for Aston Villa this season.
12. Joe Gomez - Debut vs Germany (November 2017)
Liverpool 's Joe Gomez also made his debut in the Germany friendly and was another impressive performer - so much so that he was a strong contender to start for England at the World Cup the following summer. Unfortunately for defender, a long-term injury ruled him out of the tournament, and a fractured leg keeps him out of this month's matches against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.
13. Jack Cork - Debut vs Germany (November 2017)
Burnley midfielder Jack Cork's only England appearance came in the Germany match, coming on as an 86th minute substitute in the goalless draw. Despite making 68 league appearances for the Clarets over the past two seasons, the 29-year old has not received an international call-up since then.
14. Dominic Solanke - Debut vs Germany (November 2017)
After helping England's Young Lions win the Under-20 FIFA World Cup in the summer of 2017, young striker Dominic Solanke was given a call-up to the senior squad five months later. However, the 21-year old does not seem any closer to another appearance for Southgate's Three Lions side, having only made two goalless Premier League appearances since joining Bournemouth from Liverpool for a reported £19 million fee.
15. James Tarkowski - Debut vs Italy (March 2018)
Burnley defender James Tarkowski made two senior England appearances in the run-up to the World Cup, but was shunned by Southgate in his final 23-man squad for the tournament in Russia. However, the 26-year old was recalled to the England set-up in October 2018 and is also in the squad for this month's Euro 2020 qualifiers.
16. Lewis Cook - Debut vs Italy (March 2018)
Bournemouth's Lewis Cook captained the England Under-20 side to World Cup victory back in 2017, but had to wait until March of the following year to earn his first senior cap. However, the midfielder has not featured for the Three Lions since then and the 22-year old ruptured his ACL last December to rule him out for the rest of this season.
17. Trent Alexander-Arnold - Debut vs Costa Rica (June 2018)
Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold made his England debut in the last match before the World Cup, and was therefore included in Southgate's 32 man squad for the summer tournament in Russia. The defender made his first competitive start for his country in England's third World Cup group stage match against Belgium, but has only made three runarounds for England since then.
18. Nick Pope - Debut vs Costa Rica (June 2018)
Former non-league shot stopper Nick Pope was named as England's third-choice goalkeeper for the World Cup, after a successful 2017/18 campaign with Burnley. However, a dislocated shoulder at the start of this season ruled him out until January 2019 and the 26-year old has yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Clarets this season.
19. Ben Chilwell - Debut vs Switzerland (September 2018)
Leicester City's Ben Chilwell made his England debut during a friendly at the Foxes' King Power Stadium last September. The left-back has made four more appearances for his country since then and is set to start the Euro 2020 qualifier against the Czech Republic following Luke Shaw's withdrawal from the squad.
20. Jadon Sancho - Debut vs Croatia (September 2018)
After the Borussia Dortmund winger's rapid rise to stardom in the Bundesliga over the past couple of seasons, it was only matter of time before Southgate called up the teenage sensation at senior level. The 18-year old has made three appearances at senior level since his debut last September, including a start in the friendly against USA in November. Following doubts over Marcus Rashford's fitness this week, Sancho could be in line for a start against the Czech Republic on Friday.
21. Nathaniel Chalobah - Debut vs Spain (October 2018)
After starting the season well with Watford , midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah was given his first England appearance by Gareth Southgate in the final minutes of England's impressive win over Spain in October. Unfortunately for the 24-year old, Chalobah has struggled to get off the bench for the Hornets this season, and has been limited to only seven appearances in the top-flight. The midfielder needs to do more in order to get back into Gareth Southgate's international plans.
22. Callum Wilson - Debut vs USA (November 2018)
Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has been in scintillating form for the Cherries this season, scoring 11 goals in 23 Premier League matches this season. The striker also made a goalscoring debut for Southgate's Three Lions team back in November, as he found the net in a friendly over USA at Wembley. Southgate continues to be impressed with the 27-year old attacker and has been named in the national team squad for this month's games against Czech Republic and Montenegro.
23. Lewis Dunk - Debut vs USA (November 2018)
Brighton defender Lewis Dunk also made his first England appearance in the friendly against the United States. However, the centre-half has failed to make Southgate's squad this time around, despite being a regular starter for Brighton this season.
24. Alex McCarthy - Debut vs USA (November 2018)
Alex McCarthy was given his first call-up to the England squad back in the summer of 2013, but failed to make it off the bench. Five and a half years later, he finally made his England debut in the friendly against the United States at Wembley. However, the return of Burnley's Tom Heaton means that the Southampton shot stopper misses out once again.
25. Declan Rice - Debut vs Czech Republic (March 2019)
Swapped allegiance from the Republic of Ireland and was given his first call-up prior to the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro. Replaced Dele Alli in the second half of the 5-0 win over the Czechs at Wembley.
26. Callum Hudson-Odoi - Debut vs Czech Republic (March 2019)
Drafted in from the Under-21s after a spate of withdrawals from the senior squad. Replaced Raheem Sterling after the Manchester City winger had struck a hat-trick against the Czech Republic for the final 20 minutes.
