Kevin De Bruyne, Thomas Partey, Christian Eriksen, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michail Antonio are just some of the players whose contracts officially run out on June 30
A total of 51 Premier League stars have just hours left on their existing contracts before becoming free agents or sealing free transfer moves. June 30 marks the cut-off point for players whose deals had been due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season, with the vast majority of their futures already confirmed by club announcements.
Retained and released lists have been published, goodbyes have been said and lockers have been cleared out. Some players will already have their next move lined up while others enter the free agent market.
Once the clock ticks past midnight and Tuesday begins, those out-of-contract stars be able to join a new club for free thanks to the Bosman rule. There's been some last-minute movement, though, as Friday saw Manchester United announce that goalkeeper Tom Heaton had signed a contract extension while it was confirmed that Everton captain Seamus Coleman had also signed a new deal.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kevin De Bruyne were the most high-profile names coming to the end of their contracts this year. Real Madrid ended up paying Liverpool £10m to sign Alexander-Arnold early in time for the Club World Cup, a competition which Manchester City legend De Bruyne chose not to play in before he agreed to sign for Napoli.
A couple of players have also chosen to hang up their boots once their contracts expire. United defender Jonny Evans has announced his retirement, as has Adam Lallana of Southampton, who we've included on this list, despite their relegation to the Championship alongside Ipswich and Leicester.
But who else is on the move? Mirror Football runs through every Premier League player whose contract expires TODAY.
