Dele Alli was the first Tottenham player to break rank on Tuesday night as he paid tribute to sacked manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine was dismissed after a disappointing start to the season had left the Champions League finalists 14th in the Premier League.
Alli, who was brought to Spurs from MK Dons by Pochettino in 2015, was the first player to break their silence and thanked his former manager.
'I can't thank this man enough', he wrote on Twitter.
'He's taught me so much and I'm so grateful for everything he's done for me. Good luck and hope to see you again my friend.'
