Amad Diallo believes Michael Carrick is "the right man" for the Manchester United head coach role.

After previously taking up the position in 2021, Carrick was appointed interim head coach in January following the sacking of Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have impressed under Carrick's leadership, winning seven of their 10 Premier League (D2 L1), with that run including victories over Manchester City and Arsenal.
Over the last 10 matchdays, no team has won more points than United (23), while only Arsenal (21) have scored more than the Red Devils' 20 across those games.
United are third in the league table, six points clear of fifth-placed Liverpool, as Carrick looks to guide them back into the Champions League.
Amad, who has returned to his preferred winger role after playing as a wing-back under Amorim, has backed Carrick to become the permanent boss at Old Trafford.
"From a personal view he’s the right man," said Amad.
"He has a lot of experience; he knows the club and has the DNA. His relationship with every player is very good.
"Sometimes this kind of manager can bring the club where they belong."
It was also announced on Tuesday that Harry Maguire has signed a new deal, keeping him at United until at least the end of next season.

Maguire has made 266 appearances for United since joining in 2019, while his recent performances earned him a recall to the England squad.
"Harry has been a good captain, [or] one of them," added Amad.
"He's a big leader, he talks to everyone, especially the young lads coming from the academy.
"It’s important for the team and we’re really happy for him."
United are back in action on April 13, hosting rivals Leeds United before a trip to Chelsea on April 18.
