Everton have unveiled their brand new third kit via their 'shirtzine' St. Domingo.

Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina were among the Toffees stars to model the sleek navy strip on Friday morning ahead of their trip to Aston Villa later in the day.

The Merseyside club proudly showed off their latest kit in their publication St. Domingo, a first of it's kind among football clubs, which is a magazine dedicated to this season's new strip.

The limited edition magazine includes interviews with the players, features and a brief history of kits from yesteryear.

The third shirt's unveiling comes a fortnight after Everton were forced to wear last season's away strip during their opening game of the season with Crystal Palace because of a kit clash.

As the new home and away options was deemed unsuitable for the trip to Selhurst Park, the Merseyside club were forced to recall their white strip from 2018-19 season for the goalless stalemate.

The new navy number would have fit the criteria for the clash with the Eagles, which has left the Evertonians red in the face following the result.

Despite the slight hiccup, Gomes gave the new shirt a big thumbs up before praising the club following his permanent move to Goodison Park earlier this summer.

'The club is brilliant,' Gomes told St. Domingo. 'The effort they put in outside the the pitch is massive.

'We feel we are family: fans, club and players.

'It is different from other clubs because you are not just a figure who plays, you are a person and you get to go out and meet the people who care so much about us.'
