Arsenal could rejoin the race to sign Moises Caicedo this summer, if Thomas Partey leaves the club, reports the Telegraph. The Gunners were believed to have dropped their interest in the Brighton star, following their pursuit of West Ham captain Declan Rice.

Arsenal are nearing closer to announcing their first summer signing with Kai Havertz to join from Chelsea.

A medical to seal the move was completed over the weekend and Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has detailed the ins and outs of his move to Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal want to bring Declan Rice to Emirates Stadium from West Ham this summer.

Manchester City also being interested in a transfer could stop that from happening, but the Gunners have some alternative options.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana, who is valued at around €35m (£30m) by Les Monégasques via Get French Football News, is an option for the Gunners, amid interest from other English clubs.

Chelsea and Liverpool had both kept tabs on his situation ahead of the summer, but now Newcastle and West Ham are the two teams monitoring the 24-year-old.

Arsenal star Kieran Tierney could leave the club this summer amid interest from other Premier League teams.

Newcastle and Aston Villa top that list, but a return to Celtic has emerged as a real possibility with Brendan Rodgers back in charge and the latest Bet365 odds certainly indicate that could be on the cards.

Betfair: Kieran Tierney to sign for before September 4, 2023

Declan Rice has been told by John Barnes that a summer transfer to Arsenal would be a better move than signing for Manchester City.

Speaking to Futfanatico, he said: “Arsenal have made two bids for which will probably get up to £100m so Arsenal makes more sense. Not because they’re better than City but because Arsenal are more interested and I think he wants to go to Arsenal. That will be the best thing for him.

“Rice will fit into Arsenal’s way of playing in that holding midfield role. £100m for Rice means he goes straight into that Arsenal team as the holding midfielder. Protecting that back four and bringing solidity, which is what the Arsenal team needs.

“Lavia is young and he’s a good player. Declan Rice is the number one target.”

Arsenal have been handed a Neymar transfer verdict by former player Emmanuel Petit.

Speaking to Genting Casino, he said: "I think Neymar will suit any big club. If he comes to Arsenal, I would love it and I think he will too. I think he will enjoy the technical football and the style of Arsenal. He would love to play with younger players as he is quite mature himself."He will also have revenge on his mind with everything that he has been going through at PSG, and the tears he shed at the World Cup. I think he will be happy to move to Arsenal if that is the case. He can play on the left and the right, and because of his ankle injuries he can be a player in rotation."If he goes to Man Utd, I will be very happy for them and the Premier League. They have Rashford and Sancho who can man both wings, but also have the skills to rotate so Neymar can easily fit into that cycle."

Arsenal are open to letting Thomas Partey depart the club this summer and numerous interested parties have since emerged.

Saudi trio Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Khaleej are all keen on the 30-year-old, while Italian giants Juventus have also entered the race.

Partey leaving is a real possibility and with that in mind Betfair have provided the latest transfer odds on the Ghana international.

Betfair: Thomas Partey to sign for before September 4, 2023

Arsenal have been told by Andy Cole that signing Joao Cancelo would be a good move, but not one that can help them win the Premier League title.

Speaking to Genting Casino, he said: "I haven't had a teammate like Joao Cancelo before who would fall out with a manager if the reports are true. Nobody actually knows what's gone on between Cancelo and Pep Guardiola. Cancelo is a really good player and would definitely improve any team he joins.

"If Cancelo was to join Arsenal, he can only do so much to help win games but I don't think it would make a difference in a title race, no footballer has superhuman powers like that. If Guardiola didn't think he would cause him so many problems in years to come, he wouldn't have gotten rid of him like that. Football is a sport of team players who work together to win trophies and succeed."

Former Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi is reportedly being considered by Premier League club Everton for a potential role.

Sanllehi spent nearly three years at the Emirates Stadium following his 14-year spell at Barcelona before leaving during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chelsea are also firmly in the race and now Liverpool have made their move, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

Arsenal and Manchester City look set to battle for the signature of Declan Rice this week.

With many developments likely to take place over the next seven days, Genting Casinohave provided the latest Rice transfer odds:

Thomas Partey looks set to leave Arsenal this summer despite his key role in the Gunners' superb 2022/23 season.

Portuguese outlet O Jogo reported in April that Benfica's Florentino Luis was being eyed by Arsenal, but his staggering £105million release clause looked likely to quell any interest. However, Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed Benfica would be willing to start negotiations at just £25million.

Xavi Simons faces a crucial transfer decision this summer following a wonderful season at PSV in the Netherlands.

Arsenal have shown interest in signing the 20-year-old, but the advantage is held by his former club Paris Saint-Germain.

After letting him depart on a free transfer 12 months ago, the Parisians have a buyback clause they can activate if Simons wants the return, however, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, he is yet to give his answer.

Arsenal have officially sent their second offer to Ajax for defender Jurrien Timber, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners saw their £30million opening bid rejected earlier this month, but have since agreed personal terms, and a new improved offer is expected to get the move over the line.

Barcelona have announced the signing of Arsenal target Ilkay Gundogan on a two-year deal, with the option for a further season.

Amid his contract running down at Manchester City, the Gunners showed an interest, but the German chose to sign for the Spanish giants instead.

Arsenal face a crucial week in their transfer pursuit of Declan Rice with a third bid set to officially arrive soon.

Manchester City stepping up their interest has resulted in the Gunners needing to ensure a new proposal comes close to West Ham's demands in order to get the deal over the line with Rice's preference still said to be Emirates Stadium.

A formal offer is yet to arrive from Pep Guardiola's side, but the Hammers are expecting bids to come in from Manchester and north London in the following days.

Amid this ongoing saga, Rice appears to be remaining relaxed and has also continued posting on social media with his latest a two-word message on Instagram.

Arsenal are interested in Southampton star Romeo Lavia as well as West Ham captain Declan Rice.

The Gunners need to sign at least two central midfielders and with focus firmly on Rice, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest on Lavia.

He told GiveMeSport: “Arsenal have a very good relationship with the player's side, with the agent. It's the same agent of Bukayo Saka, of Folarin Balogun, so the relationship is very good. “He's an option. At the moment, there is no bid, so Arsenal are well informed of the situation.”

Craig Burley has stressed how important it is for Arsenal to sign Declan Rice ahead of Manchester City and United.

Speaking to ESPN, he said: "I think if Arsenal miss out on him, then that’s a huge problem, particularly if he goes to Man City or maybe even Man United.

“I think that’s a concern for the player, that if he goes to Man City, then his game time (will reduce). Do you play him before Rodri? He’s a better player than Kalvin Phillips, who is a good player. I think if he goes to Man City, then it’s an element of risk for him and Arsenal’s need is more.

“I think if Arsenal get Declan Rice and they sell Partey, who was good for 70% of the season, and they have Jorginho as a back-up – if they get Declan Rice, then it’s a big get for them.”

Kai Havertz has completed all the financial intricacies of his move from Chelsea to Arsenal.

The last few parts of a medical in Spain and signing the contract are now just the final things to sort out for his transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

As per The Mirror, Manchester City will only launch an official bid for Declan Rice if he gives them assurances that he wants to sign for them.

It is claimed that Rice's preferred destination is Arsenal.

Ajax defender Jurrien Timber has reached a verbal agreement with Arsenal, according to Dutch transfer guru Mike Verweij.
