Arsenal stars including Ozil and Lacazette put through their paces in Dubai

It may be the international break, but there is no rest for the Arsenal players that aren't currently representing their countries.

Unai Emery has taken 23 players over to Dubai for warm-weather training, while the Gunners will play a match against Al Nasr next week.

The Arsenal squad, including Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette, were put through their paces during training in sweltering conditions.

Others to have made the trip include Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

One player who will be especially eager to impress in Dubai is Denis Suarez, and the Barcelona loanee looked focused in training as he aims to gain more playing time.

There are also a host of youngsters involved, including exciting winger Xavier Amaechi and dependable right-back Jordi Osei-Tutu.

Striker Tyreece John-Jules, who has gained plenty of experience at U23 level this season, will also be aiming to catch Emery's eye.

Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck, who are all recovering from long-term injuries, travelled with the squad as they continue fitness work.

Emery is eager for his players to be in good shape ahead of Arsenal's next game, which sees them host Newcastle on April 1.

Arsenal have received some bad news on the injury front, however, with Aaron Ramsey having withdrawn from the Wales squad with a thigh injury.
