Arsenal have suffered a transfer blow as target Nabil Fekir has reportedly told Real Betis he wants to stay at the club.

The France playmaker had an impressive season in LaLiga prior to the suspension of football due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gunners and AC Milan have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old but Fekir has committed his future to Betis, according to Marca.

Fekir would only reportedly consider making a switch to Spanish giants Real Madrid or Barcelona or if Betis had to sell him following the financial effects of Covid-19.

The midfielder has lit up the Spanish top flight in his debut season, scoring seven goals and supplying six assists in 23 matches.

Fekir was very close to joining Liverpool last summer from Ligue 1 side Lyon but the transfer collapsed in the final stages.
