The season is over for Arsenal following last weekend's FA Cup final success against Chelsea, with Mikel Arteta now turning his attention to the transfer window.
The Gunners are now preparing for next season with hopes of rejuvenating their squad, although the financial uncertainty and staggered season-end dates for clubs means that there is an added level of disarray.
However, Arsenal are said to have a few irons in the fire and are hopeful of concluding several deals this summer, alongside potentially moving on a few of their current first-team squad.
We look at all the latest transfer news surrounding the club.
Coutinho 'agrees personal terms' with Gunners
The future of Philippe Coutinho has dominated transfer talk in recent months as his loan spell at Bayern Munich is set to come to an end.
Barcelona are keen to sell the Brazilian this summer to reduce their wage bill, and Arsenal Station cites Catalan newsletter Sport as reporting the playmaker has agreed personal terms with the Gunners ahead of a summer move.
The two clubs will now need to agree a fee, but Arsenal are seemingly edging closer to bringing the former Liverpool man back to the Premier League.
Arteta ‘overruled’ on Maitland-Niles future
Mikel Arteta has been “overruled” by the club’s board on the future of midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
That is according to a report in The Telegraph, which claims the Gunners' youth product may be on his way out of the club, despite having played more than 20 Premier League games this season and impressed in the FA Cup final triumph over Chelsea.
It is reported that the club’s bosses will look to cash in on Maitland-Niles, while also listening to offers for Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Fans excited by Pepe's reply to Gabriel
Nicolas Pepe’s reply to an Instagram post from Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes has sparked excitement among Arsenal’s fans.
Pepe was a team-mate of the Brazilian defender - who has been linked with a move to the Emirates - with the interaction between the two outlined by the Daily Star.
Gabriel posted a photo of himself alongside the caption “What makes me happy.”
Arsenal winger Pepe then replied in French about the caption being in English, saying: “I admit you speak English.”
Keeper search stepped up amid Leno injury
Arsenal are reportedly stepping up their search for potential goalkeeper signings as they seek a second opinion on Bernd Leno’s injury.
Leno missed much of the restart after sustaining a ligament strain when he collided with Brighton striker Neal Maupay during the Gunners’ defeat in June, with Emiliano Martinez having impressed in his place.
Arsenal want further tests on Leno’s injury and are seeking clarification on how long he will be out for, according to The Sun.
And the publication says Arteta’s staff are looking for potential back-up goalkeeping options ahead of the new season starting next month.
Martinez looks set to start the season as the first-choice keeper, but the Gunners may need cover in case Leno faces a long spell on the sidelines.
