Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey joins Liam Neeson & Chris Hemsworth on Men In Black movie

Aaron Ramsey may be a household name in his native Wales, but even the Arsenal star can be star-struck by a couple of Hollywood's biggest exports.

Ramsey, who is enjoying a few days of recuperation following an action-packed two weeks with the Welsh national team, was on Wednesday invited to the set of the new blockbuster Men In Black 4.

The 27-year-old not only got to see the new movie being shot, but also tracked down Chris Hemsworth and Liam Neeson for a quick photo.

Posting the resulting photos to Twitter, Ramsey wrote: 'It was a pleasure meeting these two gents today on set of the new MIB film. Can’t wait to watch it.'

Both Neeson and Hemsworth were wearing the black tie and white shirt that has become synonymous with the franchise, which suggests they had stepped right out of a take when they were commandeered by the Arsenal and Wales star.

It would have been a relaxing evening for Ramsey, 27, who played 180 minutes for Wales in their Nations League matches against Republic of Ireland and Denmark over the international break.

Ramsey was in inspired form as they sealed a 4-1 win over Wales, but he could do little to influence the match in Copenhagen as Denmark ran out 2-0 winners to leave their Nations League group firmly in the balance.

He will now have to switch his attentions back to club football with Arsenal facing a difficult tie away to Newcastle this weekend. With just six points from their opening four Premier League games, Unai Emery's men need a win if they are to keep pace with the top four.

The new as-yet untitled Men In Black film, which sees Neeson and Hemsworth take over from Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith as the main protagonists, will hit movie screens in 2019. It will be the fourth film in the series.
