Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli has not ruled out playing for Italy and the Arsenal starlet hinted that “nothing has been decided”.
The 18-year-old has scored eight goals in 19 games across all competitions for the Gunners this campaign and Azzurri CT Roberto Mancini won’t rule out a call-up for the attacker.
The player admitted his “dream” is to get a call-up to the Selecao, but his Italian passport gives him the option to choose.
“I am Brazilian and my dream, of course, is to play for Brazil,” he told DAZN Brazil.
“But I could also play for Italy and nothing has been decided.
“I haven’t received a call from Brazil yet…”
