Former West Ham United left-back Arthur Masuaku has posted a classy Twitter message after his permanent transfer exit from the London Stadium was confirmed.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international, who had spent the season out on loan with Besiktas, completed a permanent transfer to the Turkish top-flight side on Monday afternoon, putting an end to a stay of almost seven years at the London Stadium.
Masuaku played 128 times in all competitions for the Hammers, scoring twice for West Ham between 2016 and 2023, including a famous winner against Chelsea in the Premier League last season.
Following the confirmed news of his permanent move to Turkey, Masuaku took to Twitter to post a classy message to the West Ham fan base on social media.
“Thanks for all the messages I get from the Hammers community,” Masuaku posted, followed by a Hammers emoji.
He added: “Always felt loved there with you, I wish you guys the very best for the future. Arthur,” followed by emojis of a heart and a crown.”
This season, Masuaku has scored twice and provided four assists for Besiktas. He has also scored for the Democratic Republic of Congo this season during a 3-1 win over Mauritania last month.
