Aston Villa have confirmed the arrival of Yannick Bolasie on a season-long loan deal from Everton.
Bolasie joined the Toffees just two years ago, signing in a £29million move from Crystal Palace. But he suffered a serious injury shortly after moving north and spent a year on the sidelines.
The DR Congo international played infrequently last season and has not featured under new manager Marco Silva this campaign, prompting his move on loan to the Championship.
Shortly after signing, he said: 'My main aim here is to get this club promoted. A club of this stature has to be in the Premier League.
'I looked around both Villa Park and the training ground, and me and my family just said, 'wow'. It's Premier League everywhere you look.
'I'm here to make myself smile again and use all my ability to try and help the team. It's great to be here.'
