Aston Villa are set to add some firepower to their forward line for Unai Emery as they begin to replace Morgan Rogers following his sale to Chelsea
Aston Villa have expressed an interest in Real Madrid ace Endrick and could land a bargain deal. The Brazilian forward is considering a loan departure from the Bernabeu, and the La Liga giants are willing to cover part of the striker's salary to facilitate a move.
Endrick, 20, scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 21 appearances for Lyon during his spell with the club last season. The former Palmeiras wonderkid remains down the pecking order at Real Madrid, behind Kylian Mbappe and new signing Carlos Espi.
The arrival of Espi has prompted Endrick to give serious consideration to another loan move, after Jose Mourinho left the decision over his future in his hands. The Portuguese coach sees Endrick as more of a centre forward, albeit not a pure No.9, and while the youngster played on the wing in France, he would remain behind the likes of Yan Diomande, Brahim Diaz, Bernardo Silva and Rodrygo.
Villa can fulfil Endrick's conditions for a loan move, according to AS. The forward, who featured in four of Brazil's five World Cup matches, wants to play European football, preferably in the Champions League, and be guaranteed a starting striker role.
Unai Emery's side face competition from Roma, with Real Madrid reluctant to sell due to the risk of losing money on the player. Including the transfer fee, commissions, salary, and bonuses, the Spanish club are said to have spent close to €80million (£68.53m).
Villa are continuing to look towards strengthening their squad ahead of their return to Champions League action. The Midlands side had the coffers boosted by the £130m sale of Morgan Rogers.
The Europa League winners have spoken publicly about the club’s transfer interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha. Damian Vidagany has confirmed talks with Bayern.
Vidagany told Bild: “We need a midfielder because Amadou Onana is out for the entire season – and João Palhinha is a very good player who would fit our plans.

“We are in talks, but there is currently no agreement. If something were to happen, it would always be based on the great respect we have for Bayern.
“We are friendly clubs, and our relationship with Max Eberl, Christoph Freund, and all the other officials is excellent. Therefore, I cannot and do not wish to comment on any further details.”
“I believe Aston Villa would be a great club for the player. In the league, six or seven clubs have a bigger budget than us,” he added.
