Aston Villa want to sign Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn on loan.
That is according to The Telegraph, who say Villa are in the box seat to sign the 18-year-old on a temporary deal following the fresh cash investment at the club.
Sheffield United and Wigan are also interested in the Wales international who is reportedly set to be withdrawn from the Reds' training camp in France to sort his future.
Woodward signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool last year and Jurgen Klopp is a big fan - but he looks set to be given the opportunity to gain experience in the Championship.
