20' DISALLOWED GOAL! Griezmann's shot offside

Griezmann finds the back of the net for Atletico - but he is offside after latching onto a Lemar throughball in the build-up.

28' GOAL! Atletico 1-0 Club Brugge (Griezmann)

It's a beauty of a strike from the France forward, curled tightly in from the right edge of the box at the left post past the outstretched hands of Letica after Brugge failed to clear their box following the corner.

That was a shambles from Brugge in trying to bat the ball away. A series of ill-judged headers saw Lemar granted the ball on the left side of the penalty area. One looped cross to Griezmann on the right and the striker steals the lead with a peach of an effort.

39' GOAL! Atletico 1-1 Club Brugge (Groeneveld)

What a shot from the midfielder! He steps in off the left wing, 25 yards out, and turns an absolutely beautiful strike in at the far post. Glorious stuff; it's all square again in Madrid.

Rits gets the assist after playing the ball back out wide - but that is all Groeneveld, frankly. What a fantastic goal.

67' GOAL! Atletico 2-1 Club Brugge (Griezmann)

Costa speeds into the box on the left, stops dead in his tracks and cuts back for his fellow striker to duly clip in at the far post with Letica well out of position.

Costa appears to have injured himself in the process however and will have to be replaced by Atletico with their final change.

90' GOAL! Atletico 3-1 Club Brugge (Koke)

Griezmann tears around Mechele on the left and cuts a pass back in. He only finds Poulain, who backheels it straight to the Atletico man, who duly lifts it into the box from eight yards out.

Match Report

Antoine Griezmann scored in either half to help Atletico Madrid to a 3-1 Champions League win over Club Brugge at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday.

After an opening win against Monaco two weeks ago, Griezmann's double – and Koke's late strike – has given Diego Simeone's side a perfect platform to progress from Group A.

The World Cup winner put his side ahead with a typically assured strike before Arnaut Groeneveld gave the Belgian champions an unlikely leveller with a stunning effort.

Griezmann then proved exactly why he is Atletico's talisman in the 67th minute, producing another clinical finish to set Los Rojiblancos on their way to three more points, which were sealed by Koke.
