Barcelona came from behind to defeat ten-man Valencia courtesy of a second-half hat-trick from Robert Lewandowski.
Fermin Lopez opened the scoring for Barcelona with a 22nd minute header, but Hugo Duro levelled five minutes later after capitalising on an error from Marc-Andre ter Stegen, before Pepelu calmly put Valencia 2-1 up from the penalty spot.
Visiting goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was sent off in first-half stoppage time for handling the ball outside the penalty area, before Lewandowski scored three for Barcelona in the second-half, sealing his hat-trick in stoppage time.
