Fekir put the visitors in front with a well-taken finish 15 minutes in, but Barca grew into the match and were level at half-time thanks to Griezmann's first goal for the club - an impressive volley after being picked out by Roberto.
Griezmann added a second five minutes into the second half with an even better goal, paving the way for a flurry of strikes as Perez, Alba and substitute Vidal also registered in a lively second half. Loren pulled one back 11 minutes from time, but Valverde's men were comfortable winners in the end.

Loren slides the ball through for Fekir, who takes a touch to set himself and then fires it across Ter Stegen with his second. Brilliant finish!

Griezmann is up and running in a Barcelona shirt - and what a time to score his first competitive goal in the famous colours! Roberto picks out Griezmann's run and the France striker volleys the ball home. The contact was not clean - it hit his shin - but it was still an impressive strike and had enough power to beat Martin.

Griezmann's Camp Nou career well and truly has lift-off! He shifts the ball on to his left boot and bends the ball out of Martin's reach from just inside the box. That really is out of the top drawer!

Possession is turned over high up the pitch and Perez this time keeps his composure when given time to pick his spot. He brings the ball inside Guardado and passes the ball into the back of the net, though it was not quite in the bottom corner and Martin maybe could have done better.
60' GOAL! Barcelona 4-1 Betis (Alba)
Busquets prods the ball through for Alba and the left-back fires it past back-up Betis keeper Martin, who has not covered himself in glory today.
77' GOAL! Barcelona 5-1 Betis (Vidal)
Yet another sublime Barcelona goal! Griezmann is again heavily involved, unselfishly squaring the ball for Vidal with a first-time pass. The finish was of the highest order, with the substitute midfielder picking out the top-right corner and giving Martin no chance whatsoever.

Loren pulls one back for Betis with a swerving shot into the top-right corner. Griezmann gave the ball away and Loren did not need a second invitation to pull the trigger.
