There's a new name being linked with FC Barcelona.

This isn't a player for the present but rather with an eye on the future. It concerns French youngster, Haissem Hassan (17), who has stood out this season for Chateauroux. However his performances haven't gone unnoticed across Europe and according to L'Equipe, Watford have made an offer of €2.5m to the French second division club.

Hassan is already an U17 international for France and the scouting reports have all been positive. If he were to join Barça, the youngster would play under Victor Valdes Juvenil A side. Born in 2002, the striker started his team's second match of the season against Rodez.

Barcelona are expected to keep an eye on developments involving Hassan, who might spend another season in France before looking to move elsewhere.
