German giants Bayern Munich have reportedly already concluded the signature of French international left-back Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid for this summer.
The deal will be made official on the 1st of July and will see Bayern spend between €80m to €85m on transfer fees. Foot Mercato claim that the Bundesliga champions have already made a €40m down payment to the Madrid club.
France Football believe that the entire deal will cost Bayern €160m, including salary, equating to €75m in wages for Hernandez from 2019 to 2025, roughly €13m a year pre-tax.
Last week, Bayern Munich’s board are said to have formally sanctioned the deal, which will see the club’s transfer record smashed, with Corentin Tolisso their most expensive purchase to date, costing €42.5m in 2017.
