Bayern Munich are in advanced talks with Lucas Vazquez's representatives to seal a summer move on a free transfer, according to reports in Spain.

The 29-year-old - who has played 31 games across all competitions for Real Madrid this season - is out of contract with the Spanish side in June.

The right-sided player has yet to agree a new deal at the club, despite having featured for the first team since 2015.

And Spanish outlet AS claim Bundesliga champions Bayern are in pole position having entered into advanced negotiations with the player, but no deal has yet been struck.

The report adds that despite it being understood he has rejected a new contract, Vazquez is still holding out hope that he can agree something with LaLiga champions Madrid, but would nevertheless entertain moving to the German giants.

Hansi Flick's side however are reportedly intent on sealing a deal as quickly as possible and admire the Spaniard's versatility, which has seen him operate at both right-back and right winger this season under Zinedine Zidane.

Premier League duo Tottenham and Everton have also been linked with a summer move for the nine-cap Spain international.

Jose Mourinho's side were linked with a move for Vazquez last summer and could look to reignite their interest in the next transfer window, with Gareth Bale's future uncertain and Matt Doherty having failed to impress.

Meanwhile, a move to Merseyside would see Vazquez join up with former Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is said to be monitoring the situation, while Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is also said to hold an interest in him.

LaLiga duo Valencia and Sevilla in addition to Serie A pair AC Milan and Napoli have also been touted as potential suitors.

Vazquez has made a total of 237 appearances for Real's first team, scoring 26 goals in the process.

His club trophy haul also includes two LaLiga titles and three Champions League crowns.
