In an interview, Bayern Munich legend Paul Breitner believes Bayern will do well in the Champions League and believes Bavarians' starting line-up is no worse than those of Liverpool or Manchester City.
The Champions League goes through to the knockout stages in February, with Bayern facing Chelsea in the quarter-final.
"We have everything we need to win the Champions League," he said of Bayern's squad compared with those teams in the Premier League. "What's different from other teams? Liverpool or Manchester City's starting XI is no better than Bayern's 0.1 percent. They are all in the same league."
Breitner particularly praised Lewandowski for playing strongly for years: "He hasn't changed, he's just scored five or six more goals in some scenarios in 2019. It has nothing to do with his level, he is one of the greatest strikers in the world two or three years ago and still is today."
