Ben White admission as Invincible backs Man City and Emirates decision made

All eyes on Sunday’s title showdown. Mikel Arteta will have his Arsenal players fired up for their meeting against Everton, even if one eye will be on how Manchester City are faring against West Ham.

It promises to be a nervy, anxious wait for Gunners fans to get to the 4pm kick off - but there is still no shortage of news from the club.

Ben White has proven many wrong this season, including former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, while former Invincible Gael Clichy is backing City to retain their title.

Here are the major talking points from inside Arsenal over the past 24 hours.

Gary Neville  has hailed Arsenal star  Ben White  for proving him wrong and becoming an excellent right-back.

White has been a key part of  Mikel Arteta  ’s side, who still harbour hopes of winning a first  Premier League  title in 20 years going into the final few days of the season.

The 26-year-old has been a near ever-present for the Gunners this season, contributing four goals and five assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.

An  Arsenal  Invincible has admitted he is rooting for  Manchester City  in the  Premier League  title race.

Gael Clichy,  38, has a foot in both camps having spent eight years with the Gunners before leaving for the City, where he spent six years before leaving England in 2017. The Frenchman, now a budding coach, will be a happy man whichever club lifts the trophy on Sunday.

However, if he had to choose, he would want City to clinch a fourth successive title at the expense of  Mikel Arteta  ’s side.

The Emirates Stadium will become the main home for Arsenal’s women from next season.

Arsenal  have announced their 60,000 stadium will host 11 matches in the 2024/25 season, including eight WSL fixtures and three in the UEFA Women’s  Champions League . They will become the first big club to switch the vast majority of their women’s fixtures to their main stadium and comes on the back of huge attendances this season.

‌The six WSL matches hosted at the Emirates this season saw an average crowd of 52,029, which included two sell-outs and three WSL attendance records.‌
