It’s not been all work, work, work on Benjamin Mendy’s warm weather training trip to Dubai.

The Manchester City defender has arrived in the United Area Emirates as he steps up his return to full fitness.

Sportsmail exclusively revealed on Tuesday that the defender would fly out for some warm weather training ahead of returning back to City.

And the left back even managed to fit in some down time in the United Arab Emirates yesterday, starting the day at Belhasa Farm before getting down to business.

Mendy dropped by the Transform Altitude Performance Center to complete his day’s training.

Using the Altitude Resistance Mask, Mendy performed various yoga stretches during a light session before ending the day using a state-of-the-art infrared sauna which aids blood flow, removes toxins and eases joint stiffness.

Mendy has made just one appearance since November due to a knee injury, but Pep Guardiola hopes the left-back will be available after the international break to play a part in his side’s tilt at an unprecedented quadruple.

Mendy is the latest of a growing number of Premier League stars to have used the Transform Altitude Performance Center, which is fast becoming the go-to facility for injured players making their way back to fitness and players looking for some warm weather conditioning.

Mendy’s team-mate David Silva was at the facility earlier this week - while Dele Alli, Tyrone Mings and Danny Williams have also been at the facility in recent months.
