Berbatov then & now: Bulgaria's all-time leading goalscorer retired in 2019

Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov started his career with his home-town club Pirin before joining CSKA Sofia as a 17-year-old in 1998. 10 years later, he joined EPL big club Man Utd. In 2009, he broke the record of goal scoring for Bulgaria, becoming the country's all-time top scorer. In 2019, after a year-and-a-half without a club, Berbatov officially announced his retirement from football.
