Manchester City star Bernardo Silva is reportedly set to leave the club as Italian clubs line up.
The City captain has spoken about his future before but remained elusive, suggesting that he knows he will be leaving when the season ends.
“I know exactly what I’ll be doing in 2026, but now is not the right time to talk about it.”
Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are reportedly interested in the experienced forward who has won everything possible under City boss Pep Guardiola over several years and now is the right time for a new challenge.
As Calciomercato.com report, both sides are interested but are also concerned about his high wages, which could only be improved if he were to be tempted to join a Saudi Pro League side instead.
Silva’s current £300,000 weekly wage presents a sizeable financial obstacle, and a pay cut must be negotiated if a move were to happen.
The Portuguese playmaker has made 416 appearances for City, scoring 72 goals and providing 74 assists. He would be an excellent addition to the Serie A as he joins former teammate Kevin de Bruyne, who is loving life at Napoli this season.
