Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced that Juan Bernat has renewed his contract with the Ligue 1 champions until 2025.

His renewal comes a few months before his last deal with PSG was set to come to an end and a few days after the club announced Angel Di Maria's contract extension.

PSG are also holding talks with both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, whose contracts run until the summer of 2022.

This is Bernat's third season at the French side after joining from Bayern Munich where he played for four years.

After joining PSG, Bernat established himself in the starting line-up both under Unai Emery and Thomas Tuchel.

He is also considered as a starter by Mauricio Pochettino although he is currently sidelined due to injury.

Bernat, who has 11 international caps for Spain, has played 76 games with PSG, for whom he has netted six goals and has bagged ten assists.

The 28-year-old left-back has won two Ligue 1 titles, one Coupe de France, a Coupe de la Ligue and a Trophee des Champions with the Paris-based club.

He also scored two decisive goals in the Champions League last season to lead PSG all the way to the final where they lost to his former team Bayern Munich.
