Betting Tips: Arsenal vs Cardiff

Our tipster is backing Unai Emery's men to get amongst the goals when the struggling Bluebirds visit north London for Tuesday's Premier League match

Arsenal play host to Cardiff in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The Gunners are aiming to bounce back after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United on Friday evening whilst Cardiff's preparations for this fixture have been shrouded in grief following the disappearance of striker Emiliano Sala.

Sala had joined the Bluebirds just days earlier and would have been in line to make his Cardiff debut in north London, so football is unlikely to be at the forefront of the minds of many who are a part of Tuesday's fixture.

Arsenal are unbeaten in 11 Premier League home matches and Unai Emery's men are available at just 1/4 (1.25) to beat the Bluebirds.

Cardiff have yet to score in 2019, but Neil Warnock's side are chalked up as a 10/1 (11.0) chance to claim a sensational victory.

The visitors would, most likely, be happy with a point and bet365 go 19/4 (5.75) that this match ends in stalemate.

Hector Bellerin is out for the season and joins Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding on the sidelines. Laurent Koscielny seems certain to miss out after suffering a heavily bruised jaw on Friday, with fellow defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos also injured.

Oumar Niasse, on loan from Everton, is expected to lead the Cardiff attack but Warnock's men will again be without captain, Sean Morrison, as the defender recovers from surgery to remove a burst appendix.

The Bluebirds pushed Arsenal all the way when they met in the Welsh capital back in September, twice coming from behind before losing 3-2 on that occasion.

As such, bet365's 10/11 (1.91) quote for both teams to score may attract some support.

The same firm offer a chunky 28/1 (29.0) that the Gunners are again 3-2 winners when these teams meet, and go 6/5 (2.20) that there are more than three goals scored in north London.

Better value, though, may lie in backing the Gunners to score more than two goals in this game.

Cardiff have conceded at least three goals in each of their last five Premier League defeats and the 10/11 (1.91) quote from bet365, then, could provide punters with a path to profit from Tuesday's tussle.
